There is no one final answer to this question. While it is often a good practice to allow space between constellations, there is no rule against doing several in a short span of time. The same wisdom applies with any form of therapy: it is important to integrate any intentional healing work that we do and to be sure that in our quest for healing/relief, we are not unconsciously distracting ourselves, or running away from simply sitting with what we might need to see or feel.
My greatest advice on this is to trust yourself- you know what the right timing is for you.
Yes, you can miss a week. Although not ideal, it is okay to miss a week if your schedule prohibits you from attending all 4 weeks.
All you need to know is what you would like to see shift in your life. This could be in the form of repeated patterns, body issues, relationship issues, blocks, and the list goes on. The rest will reveal itself. Anything can be constellated.
While all forms of therapy are of great value and important pieces of the journey, family constellations is unique in that it works on a systemic level. Although you are working from the perspective of yourself, your life, and your experience, we are working within the quantum field of an entire family system. We are systemic beings. We are not islands standing alone. Addressing an entire system at once can have profound ripple affects.
I began by attending a 6 week series with Tammy Roth, PhD in 2019 and was immediately devoted to this practice. I continued with one full year of monthly immersion with Tammy and then completed her two year professional training program in 2022.
